Assistant Professor
Dr. Claire Muselman serves as an assistant professor of Practice in Leadership and Organizational Behavior at the Zimpleman College of Business and codirector of the Leadership Development Master of Science program at Drake University. With nearly 2 decades in the insurance industry, she's become a transformative force in workers compensation and risk management, pioneering initiatives like the Workers' Recovery Unit, the Workers' Compensation Center of Excellence, and the Transitions. She cohosts the podcast ADJUSTED, which focuses on claims, as well as creating content for various media outlets, including WorkCompCentral, IRMI, and WorkersCompensation.com.
At Drake University, Dr. Muselman's focus on empathetic, emotionally intelligent leadership fosters well-being and growth, reflecting her commitment to educating future leaders. Her additional roles as the dean of workers compensation at the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance's Claims College and a member of the faculty at Work Comp College highlight her impact on the educational landscape.
