IRMI Promotes Rich Scislowski to President

Dallas, TX, January 1, 2025—Today, International Risk Management Institute, Inc. (IRMI), announced that Rich Scislowski has been promoted to serve as president of the organization. Jack Gibson, who has been serving as both president and CEO, will retain the CEO role, focusing on external relationships and long-term strategic planning.

“I am excited about this next chapter for IRMI,” said Mr. Gibson. “Rich’s insurance knowledge, depth of experience, and strategic mindset are a perfect fit for the role of president. I am confident that his leadership will help IRMI continue to provide risk and insurance professionals with the highest-quality information and educational content.”

Mr. Scislowski began his career at IRMI in 2005 as a research analyst on the Editorial team and is the former editor of Pollution Coverage Issues, coauthor of Commercial Liability Insurance, and a contributor to several other IRMI publications. He earned a JD degree from the University of Akron School of Law in 1996 and practiced law for 9 years before joining IRMI.

Mr. Scislowski holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation and the Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS®) and Management Liability Insurance Specialist (MLIS®) certifications. Prior to being named president, he led the Production, Product Management, Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales teams and served as a liaison between the Content and Development teams.
