IRMI Releases Complimentary E-book 50 Insurance Cases Every Self-Respecting Attorney or Risk Professional Should Know
Dallas, TX, March 8, 2012—International Risk Management Institute, Inc. (IRMI), recently released a complimentary e-book 50 Insurance Cases Every Self-Respecting Attorney or Risk Professional Should Know. The e-book summarizes in more than 150 pages, arguably, the 50 most influential U.S. insurance coverage cases of all time, as determined by top coverage attorneys.
The 50 cases, focused primarily on the commercial general liability (CGL) policy, are divided into 15 major insurance coverage issues, complete with discussions of the "lessons learned." In each case summary, the authors address the implications of these cases on issues such as liability coverage trigger theories, what constitutes an occurrence, and what is property damage. Several authors, including Jill Berkeley, a partner at the law firm Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP and the Executive Editor of CGL Reporter from IRMI, compiled the e-book.
Jack Gibson, president & CEO of IRMI, said, "Each essay individually—and the entire collection collectively—will provide the reader with a thought-provoking, meaningful, and interesting journey through the world of insurance coverage issues and disputes."
The e-book, "50 Insurance Cases Every Self-Respecting Attorney or Risk Professional Should Know," is now available exclusively at no cost on IRMI Online.
