Catherine L. Trischan
Catherine Trischan entered the insurance business upon graduation from Rutgers University. After her first job as a claims adjuster for a property and casualty insurer, she moved to the agency side of the business. She held various agency positions, including commercial lines manager, producer, and, most recently, director of commercial underwriting. In 2023, she began to work full-time in her education and consulting practice.
She is a regular presenter for various agents' associations, agencies, and companies. Ms. Trischan is also a national faculty member of the National Alliance, speaking in the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Insurance Service Representative, Ruble, and ProFocus programs. She serves as a mentor for many new National Alliance speakers and as an educational consultant.
Ms. Trischan is the coauthor of the Builders Mutual Insurance Company's Certified Builders Insurance Agent (CBIA) designation program and speaks regularly in CBIA classes. She also serves as a commercial lines education consultant for insurance agents and brokers. In addition, she has written numerous articles and courses on insurance and customer service topics for various publications and education providers.
Her professional credentials include the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, CIC, Certified Risk Manager, Associate in Risk Management, Associate in Commercial Underwriting, Accredited Advisor in Insurance, Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist, Management Liability Insurance Specialist, Transportation Risk Insurance Professional, and CBIA.
