Mr. Bailey is a nationally recognized expert regarding directors' and officers' responsibilities, liabilities, indemnification, insurance, and loss prevention. As chairman of Bailey Cavalieri LLC's Directors and Officers Liability practice group, he represents or consults with directors and officers, corporations, insurance companies, and law firms across the country. In addition to publishing dozens of articles on the subject, he is coauthor with William E. Knepper of Liability of Corporate Officers and Directors (7th Edition), which is cited as the standard treatise on the topic.
Mr. Bailey graduated cum laude from Bowling Green State University in 1975 with a B.S. degree in business administration and was awarded a Juris Doctor degree with honors from the Ohio State University School of Law in 1978.
