David C. Coons

Mr. Coons is a coauthor of "The Defense Base Act." He is a litigation associate in the New Orleans office of Adams and Reese LLP. He received his B.A. degree in economics from Wake Forest University in 2006. Upon graduating from Louisiana State University's Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Mr. Coons joined Adams and Reese in 2009. His practice primarily includes business, products liability, and maritime litigation. He has experience working with energy and related services companies in disputes involving contractual defense and indemnity and toxic exposure. Mr. Coons also counsels clients in economic development projects. In 2011, Adams and Reese honored Mr. Coons for his dedication to the firm's community service activities.
