David Grigg
Profit Center Head
Mr. Grigg is profit center head for professional liability on the North America Construction team of XL Group, offering property, casualty, professional, and specialty insurance products. Mr. Grigg joined XL in 2011 to develop professional underwriting capabilities dedicated to serving the construction industry. Prior to joining XL, he was executive vice president and national director of Willis's Construction Practice, senior vice president and practice leader for Marsh USA, and senior vice president and senior program director of DPIC Companies. In addition to his insurance industry experience, Mr. Grigg held a variety of positions with construction/design companies, including vice president of Cadmus Properties, a design-build company located in New Jersey, and principal of Australia Design, a New York-based company that provided technical services to Australian and British companies with operations in the United States. Mr. Grigg is a graduate of the University of Western Australia. He received his master of science degree in architecture and urban design from Columbia University in 1984.
