David A. Tweedy, CMC, MBA

Mr. Tweedy is author of "Risk Management Information Systems: An Essential and Practical Tool." He is a senior consultant for Bickmore's Risk Information Solutions. Mr. Tweedy is an internationally recognized expert in the risk management information systems and claims management arena, having published numerous articles on the subject. He has served in senior consultative roles for Marsh Risk Consulting, IBM Global Services, Deloitte & Touche, Betterley Risk Consultants, and Albert Risk Management Consultants. He has over 30 years of experience as a risk management consultant. Mr. Tweedy is a frequent speaker before various groups on risk technology and claims management issues including the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS), Public Risk Insurance Management Agency (PRIMA), and several insurance system vendor/users' groups. He has also addressed international risk management audiences in Singapore and Helsinki, Finland, at their RIMS conventions on risk technology issues. Mr. Tweedy holds a B.S., Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Massachusetts, and a Master of Business Application from the University of Rhode Island. David also earned the New York Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designation from the Institute of Management Consultants.
