Douglas W. Gastélum

From 1986 through 1998, Mr. Gastélum worked as a risk management and safety consultant, serving companies in healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, retail, and construction industries, among others.

Mr. Gastélum began his law practice in 1999 with some of the best insurance litigators in the world at Troop Steuber Pasich Reddick & Tobey. The group later moved to Howrey LLP and continued its top-ranked insurance coverage practice. In the years with those firms, Mr. Gastélum's law practice has included representation of defense contractors, United Space Alliance, international energy companies, healthcare institutions, recreation and hospitality companies and their individual units, real estate companies, financial institutions and their officers, religious institutions, and The Jockeys Guild, among others. He has represented clients in negotiation, mediation, and litigation through trial and appeal in state and federal courts.

His experience has provided Mr. Gastélum "real world" knowledge about the operations and challenges of many industries, including the insurance industry.
