Jeffrey Coe, CIC

Mr. Coe is the national practice leader of the FINPRO Design Industry Practice at Marsh. He leads the center of excellence, which is composed of a team of client advisers and placement colleagues who support the production and servicing of architects and engineers professional liability practice policies, owner controlled project-specific professional liability policies, and contractor professional liability programs in North America. In addition, Mr. Coe works with local offices in developing sales strategy and production delivery of the aforementioned lines of coverage while assisting in continuing collaboration efforts with the Marsh construction, environmental, and real estate practices.

Prior to joining Marsh, Mr. Coe spent 20 years with regional brokers serving in various production, management, and ownership roles. During that entire time, he focused on this client segment and has been recognized as a top producer for a number of professional liability insurers such as Catlin, Lexington/AIG, Zurich, and XLDP. He has placed PL coverage for many of the ENR Top 500 Design and Construction firms and worked extensively with multiple owners on several of the largest and most unique projects completed or ongoing in North America. He is a past national president of the Professional Liability Agents Network (PLAN), which is composed of agencies in the United States and Canada that specialize in the placement of professional liability coverage.

Mr. Coe holds an A.B. in education degree with a specialization in history from Fairmont State University and an M.S. in safety engineering from West Virginia University. He also holds the Certified Insurance Counselor designation.
