Kathleen Sheehan

Ms. Sheehan is author of "Accounting Implications of Risk Financing" and "Cost Allocation." She has been the principal consultant with KJS Professional Resources, LLC, since July 2003. Her consulting projects include data management and quality control, accrual and paid loss reconciliations, coordination with actuaries and financial management, loss analysis and reserving, trends analysis, and cost allocation. She works in a variety of industries but specialized in health care. Prior to 2003, Ms. Sheehan had more than 30 years of experience as an insurance broker, as an external auditor, and in corporate finance. Ms. Sheehan earned a B.B.A. from Texas Tech University in accounting. She obtained her Certified Public Accountant license in 1972, the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation in 1981, and the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 1984.
