Lyle R. Rathwell, JD

Mr. Rathwell is a partner in the Houston-area law firm of Rathwell & Wallison PLLC. Mr. Rathwell's principal area of practice is civil litigation, representing clients in matters involving oil and gas and maritime personal injury, products liability, toxic tort liability, transportation, premises liability, engineering and construction conflicts, and insurance coverage litigation. Prior to obtaining his law degree, Mr. Rathwell was an engineer with Brown & Root, Inc., working on design and construction of offshore pipelines and platforms in the Gulf of Mexico. He earned his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Houston, where he served as an editor of the Houston Law Review. He received his civil engineering degree, with high honors, from Lakehead University in Thunderbay, Ontario.
