Matthew J. Gaziano

Matthew J. Gaziano is an associate with the law firm of Husch Blackwell, L.L.P. His practice in the government contractors group includes advising on issues such as contractor qualifications, bid protests, and contract disputes. He has civil litigation experience representing owners, contractors, and subcontractors in construction-related disputes.
During law school, Mr. Gaziano was an editor on the Federal Circuit Bar Journal, and his case note was published. He clerked at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and served as a legal intern in the chambers of the Honorable Christine O.C. Miller at the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
Mr. Gaziano received a bachelor of music with honors in performance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2002 and a master of music in performance at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 2004. He spent time as a professional trombonist, performing freelance gigs and teaching before attending George Mason University School of Law, where he received his juris doctor, magna cum laude, in 2009.
Mr. Gaziano is a member of both the Virginia and Maryland Bar and is admitted to practice in various federal courts in those jurisdictions.
