Mike Giacobbe, PhD

Mr. Giacobbe is coauthor of "An Enterprise Risk Management Approach to Risk Quantification." He has worked for Aon since October 2001 and joined Aon Global Risk Consulting in 2007 as a director in the Enterprise Risk Management Practice. In this role, Mr. Giacobbe's primary responsibility is to assist Aon's clients in understanding their financial capacity to bear risk, implementing analytical processes for risk financing decision support, and developing approaches to evaluate major operational risks, such as supply chain or infectious diseases. He has 6 years of risk identification, financial analysis, and modeling experience, 8 years of business/strategy consulting and project management experience, and industry expertise in the natural resources sector (10+ years) and healthcare sector (6+ years). Mr. Giacobbe obtained Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. degrees in nuclear engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a Registered Representative of Aon Securities Corporation.
