Mike Poskey
President
Mr. Poskey is president and CEO of ZERORISK HR, Inc., a Dallas-based human resources risk management firm and exclusive provider of the ZERORISK Hiring System. ZERORISK HR helps organizations build great cultures by identifying, hiring, developing, and retaining top talent.

He played a key role in the formation of ZERORISK HR and currently runs the day-to-day operations of the firm. With more than 20 years of human resources (HR) consulting experience, Mr. Poskey has worked with hundreds of executives, HR, recruiting, staffing, and organizational development professionals to improve their hiring practices and employee development programs on various levels. He has trained HR professionals on legal issues pertaining to using preemployment assessments in the workplace, behavioral interviewing, job advertisements, candidate sourcing, and recruitment process best practices, competency design, and development and has coordinated numerous validation studies on identifying critical emotional intelligence competencies in a variety of job titles and industries. Additionally, he has coached hundreds of senior executive teams on improving their emotional intelligence competencies to become more effective and impactful leaders.
With a specialty in preemployment testing and behavioral interviewing, he has assisted in the design and development of emotional intelligence and behavioral hiring and training programs for client companies such as Amazon.com, NutriSystem, NRG Energy, Transamerica Insurance, McAfee, Hanger Orthopedic, Maxim Health Care, Group 1 Automotive, Road Runner Sports, Comcast, Trump Hotels, Laureate Higher Education, and the Houston Independent School District, among others.
As an active member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), Mr. Poskey has authored articles appearing in various SHRM and trade publications and has been an education speaker for regional SHRM chapters, HR Southwest Conference, and various trade and industry associations. He is a past board member of the Dallas-Ft. Worth Staffing Management Association, where he helped begin its Workforce Readiness Program. He is also a panel expert adviser for the Behavioral Sciences and Talent Management Forum for The Human Capital Institute and currently serves as a key adviser to the board of directors for the Academy of Value Sciences.
