Paul Bawcutt

Mr. Bawcutt is author of "The European Captive Scene." He is chairman of the independent international consultancy, Risk & Insurance Research Group Ltd. headquartered in London. He has been a consultant for over 20 years and provides advice on a wide range of topics to major corporations, insurers, reinsurers, insurance brokers, financial institutions, lawyers, and governments. Mr. Bawcutt regularly speaks at conferences and has worked in over 50 countries. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Risk Management and Member of the Australian Institute of Risk Management. Mr. Bawcutt is also publisher of four technical monthly newsletters, Captive Insurance Company Review, Global Insurance Bulletin, Foresight—The Journal of Risk Management, and The International Broker. He has written numerous articles for insurance, business, and risk management magazines, and is the author of Captive Insurance Companies now in its fourth edition, joint author of Practical Risk Management, and a contributing author to A Textbook of Insurance Broking, European Finance Director, and The Handbook of Risk Management.
