Philip D. Nizialek, JD

Mr. Nizialek is a partner in the New Orleans office of Carver, Darden, Koretzky, Tessier, Finn, Blossman, and Areaux LLC. Mr. Nizialek specializes in representing both insurers and insureds in complex insurance coverage disputes. He has extensive experience opining on coverage questions and litigating those questions in state and federal courts in Texas and Louisiana. Mr. Nizialek's experience as a risk manager and insurance professional in the oil and gas industry prior to receiving his law degree allows him to bring a practical, business-oriented approach to insurance coverage problems. He has extensive experience with interpreting oil and gas package policies, including well control insurance. Mr. Nizialek earned his law degree (summa cum laude) from South Texas College of Law, where he was managing editor of the South Texas Law Review and a member of several national championship mock trial teams. He received his B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
