IRMI Construction Risk Conference
Continuing Education Credit (CE)

IRMI is pleased to offer continuing education credits in most states, at no additional cost, for insurance, legal, accounting, and other professionals who attend educational sessions at the IRMI Construction Risk Conference and comply with our attendance verification procedures.

The entire Conference is filed with a select number of state licensing boards and professional organizations. As approvals are received for the 2024 Conference, the number of credit hours available will be posted on a state-by-state (and profession) basis. Certificates of completion will be provided approximately 30 days after the Conference to those who comply with our attendance verification processes.

  1. You must submit the signed and completed Continuing Education and Attendance Tracker Form that will be provided at registration when you check in at Conference. After you have attended your last session, complete the information, sign the form, and return it to the IRMI Desk before leaving the Conference. If you require CE credit, you should plan to bring your license information with you to the Conference so you can complete the form there. The information on the form must be complete, and the form must be signed before it is turned in.
  2. If you are subject to the agents/brokers "no partial credit rule," attend a session in every time slot for each half day for which you desire credit.
  3. Attend each Conference session for which you desire credit in its entirety. Don't come in late, and don't leave early!
  4. Comply with the Continuing Education Instructions and Attendance Tracker Form.

Agents and brokers are subject to a "no partial credit rule." That is, CE credit is filed for and provided on a half-day basis, and credit for attending only part of a filed course is not available. Agents and brokers must attend all sessions for each half day for which they desire credit. The continuing education and attendance tracker must be completed, signed, and returned to IRMI prior to leaving the Conference. In some cases, partial credit may be available for attorneys, CPAs, and other professions and professional designations.

The 2024 IRMI Construction Risk Conference will be filed for approval with regulatory authorities in all states other than Alaska, Indiana, Hawaii, and New York for insurance CE credit. Specific credit for adjusters may not be available in some states because of state regulations. To find out if you can earn CE credit for your license, please see the Agents and Brokers .

CE credit requirements are enforced in accordance with the rules of the governing organizations. For insurance agents and brokers, CE credit is filed on a half-day program basis; thus, each half day's credit stands alone. Partial credit is not available for attendance of only a portion of a given filed program. It is vital that the agent sign and turn in the required attendance certification for each session attended.

CEU Institute is an approved CLE provider and will file the conference for attorneys in all states with a mandatory CLE requirement. CLE credit is not available for the Pre-Conference Seminar on Sunday or for the Bootcamp.

Certain states do not require CEUI to file CLE. “Maintain Cert” states don't require an application, and the attorney will certify their CLE hours at their compliance renewal. Reciprocal states accept another state's approval.
